FO Aarhus
Frit Oplysningsforbund – Aarhus (FO Aarhus, Association for Adult Education) is a non-government, non-profit organisation established in 1973 to provide non-formal adult learning and counselling to the citizens of Aarhus. It has its own elected Board of Governors composed of representatives from the private sector, public administration, and the formal and vocational education sector. FO-Aarhus’ basic expertise lies in non-formal adult education for the general public and specialization in programs that help disadvantaged groups – e.g. immigrants, unemployed people, people with learning disabilities, dyslectics, people with mental issues – to enhance their quality of life and to integrate (or re-integrate) into society and the work force. The aim is to strengthen the participants’ personal, social and vocational competences as a stepping-stone to re-education, re-inclusion into the job market or further education.
Consorzio degli Istituti Professionali
CIP was born in 1995. It involves over 50 vocational and technical secondary schools located in Emilia Romagna and other 8 Italian regions. The goals of the Consortium are : -The creation of a school network which designs projects to innovate ,improve and promote activities of vocational and technical schools. -To improve and develop cooperation between Vocational and Technical schools. -To organize training of managers, administrator and teaching staff; -To built relationships with institutional bodies (Regional Directorates, MIUR, INVALSI, INDIRE) and local authorities (Provinces Regions and etc ..) and at the tables of comparison with the same; -Participation in European projects, both as a promoter or partners; -To develop projects integrated with the working environment and the overall design of IFTS -Integration of students with disabilities and integrated projects with the -induction of foreign students -To support educational institutions engaged in the reform processes that have characterized and are characterizing recent years, especially with regard to the methodological approach teaching, activities about training and recognition / certification of skills both informal, no formal and professional.
T-Hap
T-Hap addresses the need of individuals, professionals, and communities for flourishing with finite resources, experiencing collaborative ways of existence, lowering stress and various kinds of anxiety, addressing the different levels of human existence, optimizing mental health and wellness in our lives. T-hap offers related to wellness optimisation can be described through three basic tenets: Education, Therapy, and Travelling.
T-Hap provides an umbrella of experts and services for wellness to be established and enhanced. It brings together professionals from various work environments, to work under “win- win situations”, creating not just networks, but really cultures of well- meant, highly efficient individuals towards wellness.
Udruga Suradnici u učenju
Suradnici u učenju is a non-government and non-profit organization with twelve years of experience in the educational context. Ucitelji.hr team started activities in 2008, as NGO we are registered since 2011 as an association of teachers and educational professionals dedicated to creating a positive and stimulating environment in which educational professionals can share their experiences, get quality and up-to-date information, be creative and innovative and improve professionally. The association promotes the smart, purposeful, and pedagogically meaningful use of digital technologies in all areas of education, lifelong training of educational professionals, computational thinking, problem-solving, learning to learn competencies as well as responsible and safe use of the Internet.
Academy of Entrepreneurship
The Academy of Entrepreneurship (AKEP) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization, with an innovative and authentic character, trying to meet the new challenges of the modern labour market as its first priority. It has been founded in 2007 by the historical Educational Association of Athens “HFAISTOS”. Its aim is to create a healthier entrepreneurial environment on a national and European level and to try to support young people who wish to make their innovative entrepreneurial ideas come true. AKEP’s main objective is the cultivation of the essential entrepreneurial attitude and transfer of the necessary knowledge to public and private organisations related to youth entrepreneurship.
AKEP focuses on non-formal learning of soft and technical skills on entrepreneurship for public and private organisations and anyone involved in them (trainers of entrepreneurs). AKEP’s vision is to accomplish the Global Sustainable Goals until 2030 in the best way possible through the cultivation of an entrepreneurial mindset in private and public organisations in Europe.
Greta du velay – Lycée C. et A. Dupuy
The Greta du Velay is a public training organisation, managed under the supervision of Lycée C. et A. Dupuy and gathering 21 educational institutions under the wing of the Ministry of Education (15 secondary schools, 6 high schools and colleges). Certified ISO 9001 since 1998, it exists since 1974. It employs 4 training advisers and 40 trainers, delivers around 300000 training hours per year (welcoming 2000-2500 learners). It is active in the Velay, in the South of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region.
The Greta du Velay is member of the Greta network covering the whole French territory making it one of the main training provider in France (137 Greta and 4750 training locations). Half of the activity consists in preparing qualified workers for companies. Courses are organised as an answer to local and regional needs, in response to the demand of companies, or following the requirement of funders through calls in a variety of sectors: hospitality, cooking, health, construction, industry (automation tools, maintenance, leatherwork), audiovisual, management, languages, computing…). Courses can target the preparation of national diplomas from the Ministry of Education, from other Ministries, certificates from other certification bodies or only aiming at developing specific competences. The other domain of activity consists in supporting the vocational inclusion of target groups such as young unemployed, early school leavers, low skilled adults, migrants, through the development of basic skills (key competences, transversal competences, digital literacy…), orientation and practices in companies, so that they can choose a career and become employed.
Universidad de Salamanca
The University of Salamanca consists of nine campuses distributed between Salamanca, Ávila, Zamora, Béjar and Villamayor among which are distributed the 26 faculties and higher schools and the 12 research centers that cover aspects as varied as biosciences or lasers, passing through agri-food developments , neurosciences, history studies or basic research, among others. They are joined by centers dedicated to strengthening academic and cultural ties with other countries and cultures such as the Japanese Hispanic Cultural Center, the Center for Brazilian Studies or the Institute for Latin American Studies, where the continuous movement of teachers and students maintains ties and creates new prospects for the future in established alliances.
